Plan Ahead for the Summer and Fall of 2025

MWU offers a "leveling track" option. Once accepted into our SLP program, you can complete your prerequisite coursework online, over the summer, prior to the start of the fall semester. Once complete, you can start taking classes on-campus during the fall toward a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.

These summer online courses are included with the cost of your first semester tuition:

    • Anatomy and Physiology of Communication Mechanisms
    • Phonetics
    • Speech and Language Development
    • Speech and Hearing Science

    Your Path Just Got Easier!

Midwestern University offers academic and clinical experiences toward your Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) degree that culminates with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology

You'll be ready to diagnose, treat, and work to prevent speech, language, cognitive, social communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults.

*Enrolled students will be required to sign a Promise to Pay (PIP) agreement for the SLP summer leveling classes. If the student continues on (matriculates) to the fall semester, the cost for those summer leveling classes will be waived.
